Your personal or private chef  will prepare everyday meals, special occasion dinners or even a private cooking class for you and your family or guests. We are even available as a “Chef Gift Certificate.”

Who needs a  Personal Chef?  -  Is your  schedule hectic?  Do you love eating good food, but  who don’t have the time, or maybe the skills, to plan, shop for and prepare special or even every day meals.  Are you tired of restaurants?  Do all supermarket ready meals taste the same?  Would you prefer to eat freshly prepared, preservative/additive-free meals at home?  Let us do the cooking and the washing up!

Whether you have a tiny galley, or a full size professional kitchen, Alix takes all things into account when the menu is designed. If necessary much of the pre-preparation can be done in advance -  vegetable peeling, de-boning etc. All the messy stuff is taken care of. The dishes are designed to suit the occasion and the venue.  All menus are personalized according to your tastes. Vegan, gluten free and special dietary needs are catered for.  Perfect ingredients, and good taste are brought to your home and Alix and her team prepares dinner for you and your guests.  Fantastic, colourful fresh food bursting with flavour that will impress even the pickiest of diners!  Lots of planning, consulting and meetings go into the event and the menu.  On the day  we prepare dinner with the host/hostess - you decide how much you want to be hands on, or hands off.   We can help with anything from flowers to theming.  The cooking can be totally discrete or part of the evening's entertainment  Whatever works for you works for us -  that's what your personal chef service is about. 

Our in-home cooking classes provide a fun-filled morning and lunch or evening and dinner and for you and your friends. Simply contact us to arrange a date for your class. On the day of the class, we will come to your home with all of the ingredients and show you and your guests how to prepare a fabulous 3-course meal in your very own kitchen.  Our cooking instruction is a hands-on experience for everyone involved. The only area of the cooking process that you won’t be involved in is the clean-up. After helping to create a mouth-watering meal, we will continue to clean up while you and your guests dine.

We are of course fully insured and have HACCP food safety qualifications.

And if you do not want to give your dinner at home then we can suggest venues as well.
